Mahalo! Fleet Tracking in the Islands

Ko Olina Transportation is a fleet of mostly Lincoln MKT 2013-16 models on the island of Oahu.

Part of a sustainable resort community spread over 600 acres with sweeping ocean and mountain views, the vehicles are driven by friendly, professional chauffeurs for airport transfers, dinner charters, tours and more. Mahalo means 'thank you’, and we can certainly say that about how their fleet operates.

Ko Olina began their telematics program with Azuga with a deployment on 12 vehicles and have added more over the years.

In their very first year, the Ko Olina fleet displayed consistently safe driving, and their number of speeding events per 100 miles was less than 25%, the general average across fleets. Within weeks of their first deployment, they even brought down their already low hard braking events to about 0.06 events per 100 miles, when the average for all fleets was about 1.7 events per 100 miles.

“With its real-time availability, Azuga Fleet lets us operate our entire fleet as efficiently as possible and deliver superior customer service to our clients”
Denny Walker, General Manager, Ko Olina Transportation

Likewise, hard acceleration events too plummeted from a low 0.15 events per 100 miles, to about 0.03, as compared with the average of 1.4 events per 100 miles generally across fleets.

In recent months, Ko Olina has brought hard acceleration events to near zero. That’s a near perfect ride. Customers like it and prefer Ko Olina. It’s the aloha spirit that moves this fleet!
