I hope each of you and your families had a wonderful Thanksgiving. This time of year is when we push through to the end of the year attaining our current goals and striving to set goals for 2024. I think one of the biggest goals we never set is our family goal. Set time aside to enjoy and cherish those who support you the most.
As a Senior Manager in the Partner Channel here at Azuga, I would like to impart a little different spin in retaining as well as attaining our clients. Wrap your collective arms around them, immerse yourself not only in their business but also their lives.
Be irreplaceable, be as valued as the other professionals that our clients rely on, We are as valuable a professional as their lawyers and accountants because you work everyday to assure their employees are safe and get to go home to their families. Make it personal, take it personal, and make all of your clients realize safety matters.

Drowsy Driving Prevention Week, held every year during November, is a good time to remember that drowsy driving is impaired driving.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 1 in 25 adult drivers report having fallen asleep while driving, and many more admit to driving when they were sleep-deprived.
These startling figures show how prevalent drowsy driving is. What drivers may not realize is how much drowsy driving puts them – and others – at risk. In fact, an estimated 6,400 people die annually in crashes involving drowsy driving, according to the National Sleep Foundation.
Azuga’s camera uses Cloud-AI technology to detect unsafe driving behaviors and provide managers with actionable insights to improve driver and fleet safety.
When risky driving events are detected, the Driver Monitoring System captures video and processes them through artificial intelligence (AI)-engine. The AI neural learning network analyzes each driver-facing video to look for possible distraction events and provides tags to help fleets identify underlying causes of risky events.
All set up in the PRM and know what it has to offer? As a reminder, the tool will has the following features:

Previously, for the SafetyCam videos, the primary viewing camera was set to a Road-facing camera by default for all the events including driver-facing camera events such as No seatbelt, eating/drinking, and so on.
Now, to improve the user experience we now display driver-facing cameras in the primary camera view for events that involve drivers and road-facing cameras for other events.
Users now have the convenience of choosing a default landing screen. This will be the first screen displayed upon logging into AFM. This option can be chosen from the list on the Settings page under "Default Landing Screen."
This list contains the tiles that a user can view and access on the Dashboard/Home Screen.
On the default landing screen, a user will be able to navigate to the dashboard by clicking on the home button (top left corner of the screen).
To reset the default landing screen to the dashboard/home screen, select "Dashboard" from the Default Landing Screen list on the Settings page
Note: This feature improvement has been implemented on both Android and iOS.
To ensure overall road safety and to keep track of driving behaviors users can now comment on requested videos.
Previously, the comment feature was only available for Event videos and to extend the functionality of the comment feature we now comment on Requested Videos similar to Event videos.
On the default landing screen, a user will be able to navigate to the dashboard by clicking on the home button (top left corner of the screen).

Based on the user's feedback, in alignment with other pairing types, we have provided drivers the ability to unpair themselves from their vehicle when connected via QR Code pairing through AFM.
Previously, this feature was only available for other types of pairing. Now, drivers can unpair QR Code pairing via AFM by clicking on the ‘Pair with Vehicle’ button which will direct them to the Paired vehicle screen instead of the QR Code Scanner, where drivers can click on the ‘UNPAIR’ button to initiate the unpairing process.
The visibility of the Unpair button is controlled by the privilege of ‘Unpairing with self’.
Note: This feature improvement has been implemented on both Android and iOS.
Earlier, when an admin updated vehicle-driver associations on AFM, both on the AFM and on the web portal's Live Maps, the events were displayed as “Paired/Unpaired Via Web”.
With this improvement, we have renamed the "Paired/Unpaired Via Web" events to "Paired/Unpaired Via Mobile (Admin)". Now whenever an admin updates the vehicle-driver associations on AFM, the "Paired/Unpaired Via Mobile (Admin)" events will be displayed on Live Maps for AFM, Fleet 2.0, and Classic Fleet.
Note: This feature improvement has been implemented on both Android and iOS.
Previously, when an account had several ‘Trip tags’, users had to manually scroll down to select the required Trip tag.
Now, we have introduced a search bar in the Trip Tags list, where users can search by text for the required tag and apply it.
Note: This feature improvement has been implemented on both Android and iOS.
