Now available to participants in Oregon’s OReGO program.
OReGO participants pay only 1.8 cents per mile driven as a road usage charge. All road charges go directly to the State Highway Fund to preserve and rebuild Oregon roads and bridges.
Participants driving fuel-powered vehicles receive automatic credit for fuel tax paid at the pump. No receipts required. Azuga completes all the calculations for you. Automate payments with Azuga’s pay-as-you-go, digital Wallet.
As of January 2020, increased registration fees are applied to vehicles in Oregon according to their miles-per-gallon rating. Instead of these higher fees, vehicle owners may choose to pay smaller, monthly increments of road usage charges to OReGO. Registration fee increases are waived for motorists who enroll with OReGO and some may even save money. Electric vehicle owners can benefit the most, as their fees increased the most. Join now and save even more when fees increase again in 2022.
Skip the trip and the hassle. With Azuga, complete your emissions compliance testing without ever visiting an inspection location.
The Oregon Department of Transportation has a few simple requirements to join the program and sign-up is easy. See if OReGO is right for you.
Only light-duty vehicles with an OBD port are eligible. This includes most vehicles. When in doubt, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Azuga makes RUC easy. Here’s a little of what to expect:
The state of Oregon is providing reduced vehicle registration fees to participants in its OReGO road usage charge program. Fuel-efficient and electric vehicles driven less than 6,000 miles per year can save the most on these fees at vehicle title registration and renewals.
Azuga Insight is very cool technology. It actually helped identify a low battery voltage issue that was indicating we needed to get a new battery before my wife’s car broke down.
Azuga Insight is low maintenance and easy to use. I plugged it in and don’t have to do anything else.
I love Azuga Insight for several reasons: 1. I like getting the notices if my car has a problem (i.e. battery)—in fact, it was because of this warning that I fixed a battery problem before it became an issue; 2. You don’t have to go to the DEQ to renew tags; 3. I get notified if my car leaves the neighborhood—I have a young driver in the house; 4. I can see online how my household members drive (e.g. are they accelerating too much, panic braking, etc.)
I’ve already talked about OReGO and Azuga to many of my friends.
HiRUC is Hawaii’s two-part research program exploring road usage charging as a viable road funding alternative. Participants in Part 2 of the Demonstration may choose one of Azuga’s three mileage-reporting methods to report mileage via an automated process. Fees are not charged.
Vehicle owners capture and submit quarterly photos of their odometer so that total miles driven for the quarter can be calculated along with RUC. The feature is built into the Azuga Insight smartphone app. Azuga leverages third-party advanced technology that incorporates patented fraud prevention measures. All miles are assumed to be in-state or within the bounds of the RUC program.
Participants in the HiRUC program have the unique opportunity to experience Azuga Insight’s carbon footprint reports. Motorists can visually see their carbon emissions and receive tips and tricks on several eco-friendly practices. Azuga will also debut it’s public-versus-private road differentiation feature, which will automatically deduct miles driven on private roads from mock mileage reports.
