Invest in and protect Oregon roads

OReGO participants pay only 1.9 cents per mile driven as a road usage charge. All road charges go directly to the State Highway Fund to preserve and rebuild Oregon roads and bridges.

Fuel Save
Receive gas tax credit

Participants driving fuel-powered vehicles receive automatic credit for fuel tax paid at the pump. No receipts required. Azuga completes all the calculations for you. Automate payments with Azuga’s pay-as-you-go, digital Wallet.

Registration
Save on DMV registration fees

As of January 2020, increased registration fees are applied to vehicles in Oregon according to their miles-per-gallon rating. Instead of these higher fees, vehicle owners may choose to pay smaller, monthly increments of road usage charges to OReGO. Registration fee increases are waived for motorists who enroll with OReGO and some may even save money. Electric vehicle owners can benefit the most, as their fees increased the most. Join now and save even more when fees increase again in 2022.

About the Program

OReGO is Oregon’s road usage charge program. Participants pay for the miles they drive, creating a fair sustainable way to fund road maintenance, preservation, and improvements for all Oregonians. As of January 2020, increased registration fees are applied to vehicles in Oregon according to their mpg rating. However, vehicle owners may choose to pay smaller, monthly increments of RUC to OReGO instead of the higher annual fee. For motorists who enroll with OReGO, registration fee increases are waived and some motorists may save money. Electric vehicle owners can benefit the most from OReGO, as their fees increased the most. Join now and save even more when fees increase again in 2022.

Payment Options

Your payments (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, check, or money order) are used to fund an online wallet, from which your road usage charges will be automatically deducted.

Eligibility

Vehicle must be light-duty, have a 20 miles-per-gallon or better rating, and be registered to an Oregon resident. The vehicle must also have an OBD port (most vehicles made after 1996 do).

Azuga Insight is very cool technology. It actually helped identify a low battery voltage issue that was indicating we needed to get a new battery before my wife’s car broke down.

I love Azuga Insight for several reasons: 1. I like getting the notices if my car has a problem (i.e. battery)—in fact, it was because of this warning that I fixed a battery problem before it became an issue; 2. You don’t have to go to the DEQ to renew tags; 3. I get notified if my car leaves the neighborhood—I have a young driver in the house; 4. I can see online how my household members drive (e.g. are they accelerating too much, panic braking, etc.)
