Azuga offers free, visible-only-to-you services to vehicle owners who sign up with OReGO, a history-making program working to change infrastructure funding and fix crumbling Oregon roads. YOU can make a positive impact on our roadways and bridges!

Road usage charges (RUC) are not yet mandated in Oregon, but the need for alternative funding is imminent. As of January 2020, vehicle owners in Oregon may choose to either pay an increased vehicle registration fee each year or pay small increments of RUC to OReGO on a daily, monthly, or quarterly basis. Registration fees will increase again in 2022 in an effort to persuade owners of high-efficiency and electric vehicles to join Oregon’s OReGO program. Early participants provide valuable feedback to make the program better and stand the chance to save money on vehicle registration, now and in the future.

Oregon roads are crumbling and crowded because the gas tax (the sole revenue source for road funding) is losing its effectiveness. Vehicles today are using less gas (or none at all) and it’s time to replace the old per-gallon tax with a far more fair and sustainable per-mile model. Like a public utility, everyone pays for exactly what they use and not a penny more.

It is of utmost importance to us to help our cities, states and nation develop first-of-their-kind programs that will help improve the integrity of our infrastructure by developing fair and sustainable funding mechanisms and cost-efficient methods of transportation research. Above all, it is our deepest desire to bring vehicle owners convenience, privacy, and connections with their cars that, until now, have only been dreamt of.
