Job Description

The successful candidate will own the product strategy and growth plan for Azuga's new product line that helps manage field service businesses (e.g., plumbing, HVAC, construction) and field operations of all types. We will build on the foundation of Azuga's fleet tracking products to enable our customers to manage vehicles, drivers and jobs in one integrated platform, enabling us to provide innovative features for our customers. Your role will be to accelerate growth by determining the product strategy and roadmap, defining major features and new products, managing bundles and pricing, articulating the value propositions and working with marketing and sales to shape our execution in the market. You will work closely with product owners and developers for the field service software, while collaborating with people across our organization.

The role will suit someone who is entrepreneurial, able to identify the right goals to pursue and is able to drive execution. You will have a lot of freedom to shape the agenda. We are informal, we make decisions quickly and we're willing to experiment. We have a friendly, collaborative team that spans many different locations.

This role is planned as a permanent home-based position. Some travel may be required to meet with customers and with your Azuga colleagues.

What we are looking for
  • Knowledge of field service businesses in any vertical
  • Working with fleet managers, field operations or owner-operator businesses
  • Working with software for managing workflows, performance management, safety and compliance
  • Skills in UX and design
  • Coding skills and past roles as a software developer
Other experience that would be valued
  • 5 to 10 years of product management or otherwise relevant experience
  • Substantial experience with product strategy, customer and competitive research, positioning products, pricing and working with marketing and sales channels
  • Technically savvy, know what's possible and be able to speak confidently with developers and customers on technical matters
  • Structured in planning and execution
  • Flexible intellectual style combining conceptual, empirical, creative and intuitive approaches
  • Strong business acumen and able to think like an owner of the business
  • Understand the various functions of a hardware and SaaS business and be able to collaborate effectively with them
